I compare with the previous mouse Logitech VX Revolution. If the previous mouse worked on any surface, then the m705 only works on a good mat! on all other surfaces (lacquered wooden table, plastic table, matte tablecloth) motion detection occurs with sticking. In my opinion, m705 compared to vx revolution is a step back! The problem is in the design - the sensor is recessed inside the mouse, so it often does not catch the laser reflected from an uneven surface. Anyone who is going to use a mouse without a pad, I highly do not advise this device!
