These shoes fit me perfectly! I've been doing Zumba for about 15 years, I'm in my golden years and used to wear dance shoes that were worn out so I bought cross shoes which hurt my knees, hips and back. After researching Zumba shoes, I bought the Influence and the first generation Influence 2.5. Although the influences were light and comfortable, they didn't offer much support so I sent them back. Influence 2.5 is just what my feet need as I have a high arch and instep. As stated in the shoe reviews, I bought 1/2 size larger. I love the roomy toe box, perfect heel fit, and overall (visible) support of the shoe. I use Spenco reinforced inserts for extra support. I recently used 2.5s in a Zumba class and the pivot points on the outsole of the shoe make a huge difference. I also decided to try the Zumba Sole Control Bands which gave me more freedom of movement. I am very satisfied with this shoe and so happy that I do not feel any pain.
