My wife has a similar phone holder/charger from another brand that works great so I decided to give it a try. Air vent mounts can be tricky, but the mounting screw mount shown works best in my opinion. When the item arrived, the phone holder and air vent were completely different from the picture. The bleed mount is spring activated, which has never given me good results. Still, I decided to give it a try and immediately found that the side arms were too small and flimsy - my phone kept falling out of the mount. If he can't hold a phone, he's utterly useless.
