too solid sleep experience for me and just found out it's not bio

. My daughter bought for me and said the futon was filled with organic cotton. What I've noticed is that the edges seemed to have more filling in and we only bought it a few months ago and I would say there is about 1/2 inch of cotton in the center and now (September) I've read that the company says It's filled with polyester. I've also read that it's a mix of organic and natural cotton, but that's just a cover (!). Now I see attached tags, where I put photos, don't say anything about "all new materials" except that it says "100% cotton coated" and a tag says the materials have been tested for harmful substances. I wish the futon had the same batting and my daughter bought an organic cotton one. The sleeping area (compared to the rim) doesn't have enough batting for hips and such and I wish it was thicker. It's hard to sleep on a low-pile carpet. I also don't think we have a lot of padding under our rug, but there is some kickback - it's hard to say what that "kickback" is. Possibly 3/16" to 1/4". The content of the "aggregateโ€ material is not listed on the product label; first advertised as organic cotton; the filling along the edge is thicker; the main area is rigid; and it doesn't look like the photos.

Pros
  • . Eventually bought
Cons
  • . I don't remember but something was
