Review on 🔌 SCOSCHE Install Centric ICCR6BN: Complete Stereo Installation Solution for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep 2007-14 by Darryl Blumenthal

Bought this kit to install the touchscreen radio on my wife's 2010 Dodge Avenger. This is her wrecked car, and it had a basic one-disc radio in which the CD player stopped working. There was also no Bluetooth for hands-free calling, so it was time for a change. Overall I would say the kit was a good buy for the money. The wiring harness works, the antenna adapter works and with some modifications to the vehicle trim and dash kit (more on that later) it works too. critical lines. It doesn't have a switchable power wire, but I looked through many other wire harnesses before purchasing this kit and couldn't find one. Not sure, why that is, but oh well. How come, I also installed the dashcam with a wired connection so I can plug it into a power source and remove it from the fuse box. The wiring harness seems to work great, so while it's a nuisance to switch power supplies, it's not unique to this kit. And it comes with a fused cable that can be used to switch the power supply. You just have to find a place to plug it in, so at least it's there. Also, it doesn't have any backlight or dimmer cables, but that seems to be common with other brands as well. Antenna adapter: Not much to say here, connected, working. Dashboard Kit: This is my main concern. kit. I guess, some of my problems were related to the radio. Maybe they were all, who knows. I bought an untitled Android device here for about $100, so maybe it would be ok if I went for the "better" radio. However, I had to drill mounting holes so I could mount it to my radio. When I was about to put the radio bezel back into the car, it didn't fit with the radio and installation kit. The brackets didn't line up with the hole, and the radio went further than the hole. As luck would have it I needed a new cigarette lighter plug anyway (the fuse blew as soon as you turned the key) so I bought another frame off eBay and modified it to fit the radio. Made it wider at the corners where needed and trimmed the bottom to fit the radio. I was in a bit of a rush so it doesn't look as pretty as it could but it's on me. In general, with a little modification of the mounts, they seem to get the job done. Connector Kit: Honestly they seem to be of good quality but I don't like crimp connectors. I was just going to solder everything myself but decided to try heat shrink connectors with solder, worked like a charm. Now let's wait and see how they hold up. In general, the purchase is satisfied. I think the mounts could be a bit sturdier, but they work. And I also think those harnesses could be pulling the power out of the car. There is a factory radio so why they don't have it I don't know. The same with backlight and dimmer.
