Hello, I'm not a techie so I can only show you the difference in cable gauge compared to the standard RCA's I used before buying FosPower. I bought a FosPower 3' RCA to see if I could get rid of the noise from my Technics Sl-D30 turntable that standard RCA and other brands didn't care about. FosPower has done its job. no longer hums. I have to say that I have hearing problems, but this hum was at a frequency that I picked up well. and it stopped me from doing it. although the woman didn't hear the rumble of FosPower RCA either. It's not flimsy RCA, but it's not overly rigid either. Anyway I'm happy with this RCA set, my LP sounds great and I'm glad the background is gone. Will buy again if I ever need to replace this set. although. must say. involved with the quality when they were made. It won't be soon.
