This is by far the highest quality silk pillowcase I own. She's a lot fatter than everyone else and it was immediately apparent. Washing was no different than my other silk pillowcases - hand wash in cold water with a mild soap. After washing off the soap, I rub a little conditioner into the silk and then rinse with cold water. This will help make the silk even softer. After that I lay it out and air dry it. This is truly an amazing pillowcase. Another thing I love about this particular pillow is that it is very deep and wide and fits the thickest down pillow I have which is 20" x 28". My other silk pillowcases that were meant to match this pillow wouldn't allow it to be thick, but this one does. The zip pocket is well made and looks like it will hold up well. There were no protruding threads and the firmware overall looks good. In general, this is my favorite pillowcase, I can't say anything bad about it. Highly recommended. 5/5
