First out of the box. This turns my LG TV and Nvidia Shield Pro on and off at the same time. I have no idea how it worked but I like it. I ordered this remote control a long time ago. Same design but from a different company. The keyboard didn't work on the shield with the other one, but the keyboard works fine with the shield on this one. I did two things that made it better for me. Keep the keyboard away from a hard surface. So laying them down with the keyboard will prevent the keyboard from rubbing against the surface and erasing the letters. too low for me. Sometimes I have to look at the remote when I press the left or right button to make sure I'm centered so I don't press the volume up or down when I press left, or page up and down, when I press right. I bought soft touch bumpers from a fabric store and cut the stick to the right size so now that my thumb is on the keys I know exactly where it is by touch and the kickstands prevent me from accidentally hitting others push buttons. I wasn't a big fan when I first bought this device from another company. These mods made him a keeper for me. The IR recognized my receiver's power supply and also recognized the button for my Nvidia source and my source for external cameras streaming to me via HDMI on my receiver TV. The light works great and illuminates not only the letters but also the symbols. Press twice to turn on and press again to turn off. I'm sure most of you know that some of these remotes only light up the letters and don't light up the symbols, making the remote basically useless in the dark, but this one is perfect. Mute, menus, volume up and down and microphone work great with Nvidia. The Back and Back buttons are the same button. Click once to return. Hold to return home. I hope that in the future Whey will change the design of the case so that the keyboard does not touch when laid down and the enter, up, down, left and right keys stand. A little bit more.
