That's why I bought this gas bottle because I needed an extra gas tank when filling up the tractor. how hard can it be I finally received this gas bottle and was very excited. Looks pretty strong and sturdy. I will give so much When I was pumping gas into it at a gas station, my jacket sleeve got completely wet with gas as the pressure from the pump reflected off the white plastic filter mechanism located inside the canister's opening. In the end, to fill it up, I had to do my best to pump at the lowest possible speed. By now everything on the floor around the bottle is wet with gas, including my shoes and clothes. My question is, were the people who developed this really trying to put gas in a bottle at a gas station? Bad design in my opinion. Will have to try and buy another bottle as this one takes forever to fill up without making a mess. I guess I'll just blame the gas station for having powerful pumps!
