Review on πŸͺ‘ Enhanced Office Chair Gas Lift Cylinder Pneumatic Shock - 5" Travel - S6111 by Alicia Fraser

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product with no instructions

While it doesn't seem like the seller is responsible for this, instructions should be included. They will always come in handy (if they are well written, of course πŸ˜‰). I think companies save money (and paper?) by not including them, but that's what prompts consumers to turn to YouTube for help. How much would it cost to link the instructions on the Revain purchase page to provide this if they don't want to write, print and package it? Luckily I'm a pretty smart person so I figured it all out with a little YT, common sense and determination. Not bad considering I've never done or seen it. The basic idea is very simple, but the trick is to get the old cylinder out of the chair - at least in my case. Detaching the main/lift section by pulling out the clip is fairly easy, but the base that got stuck in the base of the chair wasn't that easy. If you don't have instructions to help you, you are basically assuming and hoping that you will do harm. !?! I watched 5 videos before one finally mentioned this issue! Finally, after several treatments with WD-40 and lots of hammer - NOT hammer - action, I finally got the base out and just put the new cylinder in place. Turn the chair right side up and sit on the chair to set everything in place. Now I have an ergonomic office chair! I can feel the knots in my back, neck and shoulders going away. aaaaaa! If I had a little guide to save time and frustration I would give this little gem 5 stars because I didn't have that many tension nodes. And I'm sure he did his job and saved me $$$ πŸ˜ƒ
