This gas cap is so bad my check engine light stays on all the time. I've tried resetting the codes and they appear again. The only thing I did was replace the old cap with this one and the old one was fine, just cosmetically old. They say don't fix what ain't broke, now a new gas cap makes me sad. I think I should go to the car zone as they don't sell junk.
