I bought a Canon GP-E2 about 2 years ago. It failed after 18 months. I called Canon support. The technician didn't even know Canon sold a GPS receiver. It couldn't be fixed. Bought another GP-E2 in September. After ONE week it stopped working. Sent it back to seller and asked for a replacement. They would like to send replacements but no units have been ordered. Also not available on the Canon website. Eventually I found it and made a 3 hour trip to pick it up so I could use it on an overseas trip. Great, but it also went wrong after ONE week. I can't get an email reply from Canon. My Nikon underwater camera has a GPS that still works well after more than 5 years. I would like to give the GP-E2 a zero rating. I strongly recommend not purchasing this product.
