I've had them for about a month now and on two of them the clip was completely broken. Every year you have to order a new set because they wear out. In most cases, the elastic will begin to stretch and the clips will no longer hold. I tried this last time because the others are not available. From the start it seemed they didn't stick to the foil very well. Also, for some reason they are difficult to put on. If you open the clasp too far, it will press on the clip and not come down on the sheet. You should hold the clasp almost perpendicular to the clip itself. It's pretty difficult to do when you're trying to pull down the sheet, lift up the mattress, and buckle that stupid thing up all at the same time. Others I've used in the past have been relatively easy and can be installed with one hand. Looking at them I can't tell what makes them different, but apparently they are. You can't just put it on and snap your thumb to close the clasp. Also, they never held the sheet from the start. The rubber band was pretty flimsy. At least they're cheap, so it's not the end of the world. just annoying. I think I need to try another brand.
