These curlers are AWESOME! I have shoulder length hair with a natural curl and a wavy pattern with lots of curls. I was concerned that my hair would not dry while I slept with it on, but it dried and styled as advertised. I bought an 8 inch pack. I only used them on the ends and put the ends in the curlers just past the bottom rubberized end. I have naturally curly and wavy hair. The bottom is curly near the back of the head while the top layers are wavy and curly. I used a curly hair shampoo and a combination of all the conditioners I had for curly hair. I sprayed a styling spray on my curly hair and a leave-in conditioner on my curly hair daily. After sleeping on it, I removed the curlers, combed the top section of my hair just in front of the curls, and pulled out the comb, leaving the curls intact. I used weatherproof (moisture) hairspray for hold and frizz control. (I didn't like the texture of the hairspray, will skip it next time) As a finishing product, I sprayed an argan oil spray/heat protectant on top. I have received many compliments on my curls and I feel beautiful. I also bought a 21" pack to see what it does. I used a microfiber hair towel, let it sit, applied the solution and curled my hair in rollers with no problem.
