Update: I contacted customer service to return it and they gave me a full refund but let me keep the comforter. As it turns out, the bedspread has become my favorite couch blanket because of its size and feel. I got used to the crisp sound and now I'm going to buy another one, my son had the original. I bought a Pendleton weighted blanket from Costco, which was downright bulky and slipped even worse. The worst thing about Pendleton is that the ties come loose so easily. We didn't have that problem with it. The original review was 3 stars: I'm actually quite surprised by all the rave reviews. The ceiling literally feels like weighted plastic. When I take it, I hear a crunchy sound. I've added a video so you can see what I mean. We try to use it on the couch and it keeps sliding down and driving me nuts. The only reason I rated some of the stars is because I still have that measured feeling of comfort when I'm underneath and the star pattern is cute and soft. On the other hand, a kind of slippery fabric. I'm considering returning it.
