Omg folks. Yes, glass is fragile.

I've had it for almost 2 years now and love it. Buying a second for a second home. I personally like the size as it sits on my plates and adds a bit of height above the food. If it was on the outside of the dishes at the bottom of the microwave, the food would touch the surface and you would have to clean it after each use. So yes, I think it could be a bit bigger, but then people will complain that it's too big. My favorite complaint, however, is that it's overly sensitive. Yes folks, it's glass. The whole purpose of a glass lid is to avoid plastic in your microwave. If you want indestructible, use plastic.
