I am very tanned and you could fully see what I was wearing under the dress. This is a very pretty dress and the fabric was pretty good for the price but the neckline made me very uncomfortable. It was tolerable but I have a feeling it would be much more uncomfortable in a hot climate. However, apart from the neckline, the size of the dress was great - it fitted my waist and chest perfectly, and hit just above the knee. (Sizes: 5'2 and 32A, I ordered a small one)
