I bought this teething toy for my 8 month old granddaughter knowing she might be too old for her. But I liked his look. This is quite unlike anything I've ever seen and I wanted to test it. To my great surprise, this is really the sweetest and most valuable gift. From the soft pink color of the wobbly head to its design. Made of silicone, this is a softer toy, very soft, very light, very comfortable for babies. When babies shake the toy, they don't bludgeon themselves as often happens with heavier teethers. The toy also has different finishes. ears, body, face, neck, base. each of which will be a different "chew" for your baby. And the toy has a soft rattle, another plus. The toy has a potential downside that I'm not yet aware of. And to be honest I haven't checked the age guidelines here. However, the rocker head is attached to the body with an elongated and somewhat narrow neck, giving the toy the effect of a rocker head. It seems that with some determination, any kid will be able to rip their head right off their neck. On the other hand, it can be hard as a nail. What I do know for sure is that I love this little tooth rattle! And this has become my new addition to all future gifts for children.
