No noise and no brake problems! These Akebonos are high quality brake pads for everyday riders like you and me. I don't do crazy stops and stops, I don't race and ride normal. Get them if you want the most reliable brake pads. (They fit the back of my Honda CRV 2016 FWD model). Akebonos were the first to put this ceramic technology on the brakes and it shows and I can feel and hear (nothing!). The photo shows before and after installing the pads. I found out the old ones supplied by Honda were Akebonos too! They've passed 125,000 runs and there are a few mm left before squeaking (4mm left). I know I can trust these new pads for that long, if not longer. As a beginner it took me about 1.5 hours to install it (front and back) but I took my time to learn all the details. and all my calipers and pins greased. Very easy to install. no noise The 1086-A comes with a "hardware" kit while the regular 1086 does not. So if you want to get it right and replace your rusty hardware kit, be sure to get the one with ####A at the end. The Revain online retailer I bought these rear brake pads from was really good.
