Important point: This is my first Android phone.
I think this explains all the possible oddities of my review.
From 2022 to 2022, I only used iPhones.
First 3GS, then 5, then 6S. Plus a corporate iPhone 8.
Leaving Apple was deliberate and planned.
Firstly, complaints have accumulated, and secondly, it has become simply boring.
And then there's the price of a comparable iPhone XS Max 256GB has reached an inadequate 85k. Theoretically, you can give as many times in three years. But for what? If it were some kind of technological breakthrough, then yes, but the iPhone XS is nowhere near worth the money.
At first I looked at Samsung, but they have the same difficulties as iPhones, only on a smaller scale: it is also not clear why such prices for such characteristics.
Therefore, the vector of interest has shifted towards Chinese phones
Meizu - dropped because there is no NFC, Xiaomi - because of ads in the firmware and the need to get a tambourine, and I still wasn't sure that I would like Android in principle, so.
The favorites were Huawei and OnePlus. The first one liked the P20 Pro: it is good for everyone, but it disappeared because there is no version with 256 ROM.
In general, the OnePlus 6t was the best option.
The first days everything was difficult, the brain exploded. Compared to an iPhone, it feels like there are 10 times more settings and the logic is not always clear.
But the desire to get away from the apple was strong, so I had to climb the forums. The hardest part was setting up notifications so that they were as convenient as on the iPhone. And there is no single notification center here, I remind you.
But a week has passed since the purchase and the phone is fully adjusted to my requirements. Now I like everything and nothing bothers me.
To people who also want to leave Apple, I want to say: do not be afraid, leave. Be patient, you will have to climb on w3bsit3-dns. Com and ask around friends. But in the end, I can say that OnePlus 6t on Android Pie is in many ways better than the iPhone Xs. There are drawbacks, but for me personally they are not critical: almost everything can be fixed, but you can score on some little things

Pros

1. Speed is at the forefront. All processes are instant and at the same time smooth. 2. The lever for switching modes "normal - vibro - silent" on the right side is very convenient. Those who are used to a similar lever on iPhones will definitely like it. 3. The fingerprint scanner works correctly, there are no complaints about it. It's fast, only marginally slower than the iPhone 8's scanner. 4. Ideal ratio of the display and body sizes. The screen is very convenient for multimedia, Internet surfing and mail. At the same time, the phone fits comfortably in the hand and does not give the impression of a shovel. Fits well in jeans and trouser pockets. 5. The original case included in the kit turned out to be very high quality. Initially, I did not plan to use it, but I tried it on and decided to leave it, it is more convenient with it. 6. Charger wire included is the dream of everyone who uses standard wires from iPhones. It is twice as thick and noticeably stronger. Spare original wire + original cigarette lighter plug with fast charging function on Ali cost 1,000. Let me remind you that the original lightning wire alone costs 1,820. And you can’t call him a long-liver, to put it mildly. 7. The battery is super. By the end of the day, about 50% of the charge remains. This is an average after 4 hours of screen time: two SIM cards, an hour of phone calls, another half an hour of Skype calls on the speakerphone, games, instant messengers, social networks, a browser, music via bluetooth in the car. The adaptive battery and adaptive backlight features are enabled and work unobtrusively. 8. 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM is enough for everything and with a margin. The RAM, as well as the battery, is adaptive: androyd itself monitors that applications do not consume it too actively, while the rights of all applications are regulated by the user, androyd only makes recommendations and offers solutions.

Cons

1. Mono speaker sounds loud but the sound quality is mediocre. Not exactly a failure, but the sound is really so-so. And there is another problem with the speaker: when I take the phone horizontally with both hands with a comfortable grip during games, the right hand always covers the speaker and there is no sound. You can take it with a different grip, so as not to overlap, but this is no longer so convenient. IMHO, this is the main problem of this phone. 2. Rounded display edges. As far as I understand, this is a feature of Android Pie itself, the Xiaomi MIA2 colleague on Android Pie has the same thing. In some applications, the edges are slightly trimmed. It seems that the functionality does not interfere, but the internal perfectionist is slightly dissatisfied. Perhaps this is somehow optimized programmatically by the software developers themselves over time. 3. Adaptive screen brightness does not always work correctly. In most situations, everything is fine, but sometimes the backlight drops almost to a minimum for no apparent reason, the screen becomes almost unreadable and you have to turn off the adaptive backlight and adjust it manually. As if not even a problem, but a feature. In general, you can always manually adjust, I just still hope that it will adapt to the end and stop mowing. Regarding everything else, what else is written about in shortcomings, but what I do not write about: * No notification indicator? Yes, he is not. And it has never been on iPhones at all. * Is the camera so-so? By the standards of smartphones in 2022, perhaps. But compared to the iPhone 8, the camera is definitely not worse, so there is definitely no downgrade for me in this aspect, everything about it suits me. * No mini jack? Yes, but I would not have noticed that it is not there, because even on the iPhone where it was, I have been listening to music via Bluetooth for a long time anyway. Basically in FLAC where the bitrate is +/- 1 Mbps and one track weighs +/- 30 Mb. And there is no loss of quality compared to the wire.
