Review on 🌞 DKTIE Static Cling Decorative Window Film: Heat Control & UV Protection 17.7x78.7-In. by Sandy Vaughn

Very good product but the instructions require some work.

First things first: This film is less than 2mm thick. More quickly . 22. But it has a body, just like those holiday window frames that you can put on your windows. But not even that fat. Second, the amount of light you want to let through is entirely dependent on the design you choose. Third, the instructions tell you to spray the film and then* remove the protective clear plastic layer. no Just wash and spray the window. If you spray on the film first, you'll have a slippery time peeling off that brow layer. Yes, there really is a cellophane layer, and it's difficult to peel off a tiny corner to peel it off. Fourth, there's a reason the smoother, shinier side should be in contact with the window. THIS IS HOW HE HOLDS TO THE SMOOTH GLASS. Smooth on smooth. A matte or rough side does not change the privacy of the film. And if you're worried about how it feels then you shouldn't touch it anyway. If you disturb it, it stops sticking. Fifth, create a template for the window you are closing. Then cut out the movie. The smooth surface form required for bonding/adhesion may be compromised by caulk, paint or glazing compound that has not been fully leveled/removed during window installation or repair. And even the best framed glass isn't 100% square. If you leave the film hanging on a window frame, for example, the film will peel off by itself. Each edge of the entire piece of foil you cut should lie edge to edge on a glassy, smooth surface to prevent air from getting under the foil. Sixth: No, you cannot use it outdoors. And no, you cannot use it on a screen door. You need a clean, ultra-smooth surface for traction. glass, honey. Seven: This product is NOT STICKY. It's sticky. That is different. Sticky is not the same as sticky. Your wool socks don't need to be sticky to stick to your sweater when they come out of the dryer. See? This is static clinging. No glue.

Pros
  • EASY TO REMOVE: Static sticky glass film! Leaves no residue after removal and the film is even reusable!
