real customer, real review; bought on lightning sale. Bought because I needed something easy to install that would still let light in but provide privacy until I had time to install window screens and hang curtains for my newly purchased home. I didn't buy for a mirror effect so I won't comment on that aspect. Works exactly as the description says - sticks to the window, can't see inside from the outside during the day but can at night when the lights are on inside. I cleaned the window with Pledge Multi Purpose Spray Cleaner and then sprayed it with a mixture of dish soap and water for extra adhesion and had no issues with the film falling off the window. Installation is easy - you simply measure the window, cut the film. Size with scissors, spray on the pane, remove the protective film, stick the film on the pane and remove air pockets with a mop. My guess is that it would be difficult to make a film that completely blocks the outside-in view but still maintains the inside-out view. I bought a 23ft roll so I will install this film on all of my windows. Would buy another roll from this seller if the original 23ft wasn't enough.
