Worth the extra $100 over 1080p
This monitor is fantastic. I was a little apprehensive beforehand due to a few reviews saying things looked washed out or fuzzy, but I have to say I'm really impressed. I previously ordered a 1080p monitor and returned it due to disappointment in the quality, for $100 I got this monitor with 1000x better quality. To be honest the guys at Viotek who set the price on this thing are just saints it's that good.
