Much brighter than standard bulbs

I bought the extra white flashing brake lights because the lenses are already red and I just wanted a brighter effect for safety. They replaced my 2008 Honda Civic SI coupe and matched the original bulbs perfectly. They light up about twice as brightly in a stroboscopic effect when you first step on the brakes, which is definitely an eye-catcher and promotes safety. I guess I'm paranoid because I've been hit from behind twice in the last 3 years so it's good prevention.
