Online reviews are harsh. No matter the product, there will always be those reviews that make you nervous about spending money. I find buying an epilator particularly challenging because not many people use epilators, so I can't ask trusted friends for recommendations like I would recommend other products. So I was left alone with the online reviews, worried that I might make the mistake of spending my money on something useless. I've been using epilators as my main hair removal method for 15 years and this epilator is the third I've used. obsessed. I think it's important for you to know this because 1. I feel this epilator is on par with others I've used and 2. I'm a person who really enjoys using an epilator . Point two is particularly important to me because I think a lot of bad epilator reviews come from people who don't have the right epilator for them. Therefore, negative feedback from them in these cases is not related to a specific model, but to the idea of hair removal in general. One of the most common complaints about the epilator in general is pain. I don't usually worry about the pain associated with epilators. Over time you will feel less sensation. Having said that, I have to say that this epilator I'm reviewing is the most painless I've ever used. I felt so small that at first I worried it wasn't actually pulling my hair. So I waited a bit before checking it to confirm that it did indeed remove the hair. So if you are sensitive to pain, this could be for you. Another common complaint in epilator reviews is that the epilator just breaks hairs instead of actually removing them. I had no such experience with this epilator. The hair is clearly pulled out at the root. I am very happy with it. You have to go through the patches more than once. In my experience, this is typical for epilators. So no shadow over this model. However, epilation takes a little longer than shaving or waxing. But the results last, and it takes a lot less effort and money than waxing. The main downside is that you have to keep it plugged in to use it. It's not wireless. My last one was wireless, so standing next to an outlet is a little annoying. But the cable is a reasonable length. All in all I am very satisfied and glad that I have decided on a new epilator.
