It was perfect for my recovery after surgery. You are the perfect size. However, I would like to point out that the dimensions are 5 inches by 9 inches, ie the dimensions of the entire pad, not the dimensions of the absorbent layer. The absorbent portion of the pad is approximately 1/2 inch from each end making the absorbent portion approximately 8 inches long. I had many, even two of them at the same time. They were comfortable against my cuts and didn't stick! I really like that each pad is sterile. I saw that some brands are not individually wrapped, they are individually wrapped! If I ever need more I will choose this brand! This is a great product at a great price!
