My issue is the texture of the metal straw and rubber coating. I'm not a fan of them but they do their job. I bought these mainly for my kids because they have trouble chewing straws and they make a lot of messes. This way, the straw helps them not lift the cups, reducing the risk of spills. Also, they don't chew on the straw as it's metal and doesn't spill when you lift it, as the straw is close enough to their face that the straw doesn't get squeezed, preventing them from drinking. Straws are easy to clean and I store them in a container with a glass cylinder that is used to store plastic straws. Tired of wasting money on cheaper disposable plastic straws, I invested in these. It's worth it. I even tried buying reusable rubber caps but they were too big and didn't fit most regular caps. These are the perfect size.
