I received them because there were 100 in the package. My kids often use hair ties on their dolls and I wanted something inexpensive. Turns out these are some of the best I've ever bought. They stretch well and suit my very thick hair. They are not as harmful to hair as some other types. Also, they cost almost the same as pharmacy packs, which only contain about 10 pieces. If you need a lot of hair ties because your kids have a lot of dolls or because they keep losing them, I highly recommend getting them!
