Review on Renewed Logitech K800 Wireless πŸ’‘ Illuminated Keyboard: Brighter, Better, and More Convenient by Aashit Shandilya ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Purchase failed, very dissatisfied.

I really liked Logitech products. Yes, it is expensive, but I deliberately overpaid for the service. They had excellent 2022-speaking technical support in Europe, who quickly resolved issues that arose and, if required, replaced a faulty product. This keyboard was different. I bought it for myself at work, where a working computer and a laptop are connected to one monitor via a KVM switch. To switch between computers, you need to use certain keyboard shortcuts + the keyboard must be connected to a certain KVM port. As a result, when this wireless receiver is connected to the KVM, the keyboard simply does not work. In the "ated" technical support in broken 2022 with a Chinese accent, they answered me harshly that the keyboard cannot work with KVM switches without explaining anything more. To my objections that nothing was written about this anywhere either on the packaging or in the instructions, they could not give me anything intelligible, not wanting to help at all. With an average price of 4.5k, I received a device that does not perform the functions I need. And the old wired K200 works fine in the same console port. I really regret that it has practically no analogues from other manufacturers.

Pros
  • Convenience, lighting and everything listed by others.
Cons
  • For me, the main disadvantage was that the keyboard cannot work properly in the KVM console port of the iogear GCS1104. The price is clearly too high, details in the comments.
