Very pretty but a size too big

Size up for sure! My daughter barely fits a size 5 in regular clothes, but a size 6 in this dress was perfect for her. I washed it in cold water before putting it on, everything is fine. I ironed it and the creases became soft and fluid. A bit hard at the beginning. In general, she liked it. She loves flowy dresses and flamingos so this was perfect for her tropically inspired birthday party.
