When I use a buffer tool, the motor stops or slows down if I put even the slightest pressure on my feet. The weird thing is that I turned it on today and it ran MUCH faster than it has in all the time I've owned it. It was plugged into the same outlet, so either the product is defective or the problem is with the cord. It worked well when it actually worked back then. For the most part, I can only use a motorized tool as a finishing tool, which isn't ideal. The accessories that came with it were of good quality and the hand file/scraper is great. I can experiment with the cable and different connector positions to see why it worked really well back then.
