Definitely not intended for women, or at least not for women with a B cup. I know they will rub my hands. Not intended for petite women either - I run a medium size for most shirts, sometimes large, and the straps on this backpack didn't fit me. To top it off, the chest strap had a second attachment (not actually attached to the back), but the strap was threaded through the buckle the wrong way. I think you get what you pay for. I'll go back and spend a little more for a better brand.
