A few quick notes for people after April 2021

Notes for people having problems: AMD Chipset Software 2.13.27.501 works for me, but the recommended version 2.11 on ASRock website causes my entire PC to go into random Intervals pseudo-freezes . So I would recommend installing 2.13 if you are having any of these issues. If your LEDs are blinking randomly and not following the settings in Polychrome or BIOS, you probably have a bad board. I use this B550 Taichi. with 5800X, GTX 970 (GPU lack is killing me), 32 GB Ripjaws V 3200 CL 16 RAM (2x16), EVGA 650 G2, Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360, M.2 SATA SSD, SATA III SSD and PCIe SSD. This is an absolutely incredible board for the chipset and money. Something many X570 boards in this price range don't even have is x16/x4 and x8/x8/x4 support for PCIe lanes. As someone with a PCIe x4 SSD for gaming, I appreciate that the bottom slot is very far from the graphics card slot and can still run the graphics card slot at x16 speeds during operation. I/O is great. You won't find another B550 with as many USB 3.x ports *in addition* to all the other storage/PCIe slots. And a BIOS flashback. And clear the CMOS keys. And display the POST code. And RGB. And Intel 2.5GB LAN. And a front USB-C port. Of course, the price is a bit high. But since you can't buy half the best boards right now, this is a steal. The original suggested retail price was $230, which is insane value. But now, with all the prices of everything inflated, $270 is good. I wanted an ASUS Strix X570-E, but it costs about $400 instead of the usual $299. So yes, $270 is fine with me. BIOS works. I don't overclock so I just want to set RAM frequency, see CPU temp and see occupied slots for troubleshooting. How it is. The armor on the board is great. That makes working with her more pleasant. The first of these boards I received was crappy - the RGB strips on the I/O panel flashed random colors, although the rest of the LEDs responded normally to ASRock Polychrome software. . My USB port didn't work either. It was one of the USB 3.1 and the second from the bottom of the board. which was weird. Also, the Taichi icon on the I/O panel didn't light up at all. Another issue was that the latest AMD chipset driver (2.13.27 at the time of writing) was causing my USB devices to be disconnected randomly (even with the AGESA code update in the latest BIOS). I called Revain, they referred me to ASRock and within two days and about six emails they advised me to replace the board. I did and I'm glad I did. The new board works exactly as expected. The new chipset driver also works great.
