This is a great product to add an aftermarket radio to your new Honda. This part goes straight to the wiring harness in the car that used to be connected to the Honda factory radio. Plugging it into your aftermarket radio's wiring harness will make installation easier and then easier to remove and everything will be nice and tidy. In fact, I did all the wiring in my house. This is very easy as the colored wires also have text printed on them that explains the wire's purpose (light, power, left channel, etc.). In modern cars, the controls are on the steering wheel, and this suspension does not help. You need another part. Also, many modern cars, including newer Hondas, use a proprietary AM/FM antenna and you will need an adapter for that. Do it yourself task. All I wanted was Android Auto, and after trying to drive a new Honda I figured I could get a better product just by upgrading my old reliable (and paid) car for less than a payment.
