Previous version is MUCH better (updated)

***UPDATE****. Windshield wipers creak after a month of use. Other customers complain that their wiper motor burned out. PIAA has no right of return if the wipers are not used. A HUGE waste of fifty dollars. Very dissatisfied with this new model. I will never buy PIAA again. I wish they hadn't changed their old design which was lighter, thinner and worked much better. This new set is rubbish, especially for the money. I bought them for my Mazda3 three years ago and although I wasn't sure at first I ended up liking them and they still work well. So when I got my 2013 Mustang, I decided to splurge on them again. I just installed it and so far I'm not impressed. The previous version was metal. It is made of metal and plastic. The old version was easier to install. This one contains many more clicks of plastic parts to assemble. Also, the latest version seemed thinner and glided more easily even on a dry window. This one doesn't seem to slide as easily on a dry window. Both variants cost the same! So I've docked the star for now, but will update later if I run into any major issues. They cost twice as much as most other wipers, so I was disappointed that the materials went cheaper. I just hope they work the same. Oh, and also, there used to be a sheet with instructions on it, specifically how to prime the windshield and start the wipers. It wasn't there this time.
