Review on 🛁 XAJOON Bathtub Shower Drain Hair Catcher - Patented Gray Hair Catcher for Regular Drains in Bathrooms by Gene Evans

UPDATE: After using this hair trap for a little over a month, I am taking two stars for the one mentioned Problems from my previous review only made it worse: The metal and silicone parts now separate easily and come loose every time I pull my hair out of this device with my fingers. ============ I bought this hair strainer in hopes that it would reduce the frequency of calls to the plumber and "pulling out" clumps of hair from the deep pipe under the shower drain. It appears to be well made and the metal plate provides enough weight to keep it in place over the drain. We've been using it for over a week now and it seems to be doing a good job of catching hair that might otherwise slip through the holes in the metal mesh on the shower drain. The only two criticisms I can have are: (1) the metal top and silicone bottom can separate fairly easily, although putting them together isn't difficult; and (2) it's a bit difficult to remove all the trapped hairs with just my fingers. I suspect that using an old toothbrush might make this easier, but I haven't tried this approach yet. Overall I think this hair trap seems to be doing its job well so I'm happy with it.
