Small, unobtrusive and with the perfect amount of light for a night light

We already had several night lights with motion detection that we liked, but we wanted them to be battery independent too. These fit the bill perfectly! We use them in several hallways and also as additional night lighting in children's rooms. Here's what I like about these lights: 1) They're small and unobtrusive. I didn't want a light sticking out like a thumb during the day. They are neutral in color, so we hardly notice them during the day (although we have light-colored walls). 10 feet without lighting the entire room. I would NOT try to use them for reading, shaving, etc. 3) This particular model emits the warm light (ie more yellow than blue) that most people prefer for night lights in living spaces. 4) They consume a negligible amount of light. Energy. A little even. 5) You see light but no movement. In other words, when the environment is dark enough, the light turns on - it's not activated by motion. It's not "good" or "bad", it just depends on the application. For the night light in our children's rooms, we wanted something that stays on all the time when the room is dark. but it should be clear! That's the price you pay for not having to worry about changing batteries. There are places in our house where I need a battery powered night light and there are places where I prefer a plug in and for the latter they are perfect.
