Must have tool in tool box

I'm old enough to remember full service gas stations where service personnel checked oil and air pressure in tires, changed times, full service became self-sufficient-service, which meant you had to check your own fluids and tire pressures. I used this metal pin that had a small square stick in the center that popped out when attached to the tire valve stem. It was taken as a thermometer reading with little dashes you couldn't read and was only a rough indication of tire pressure. Not an exact science, but difficult to read and trust. Later gas stations then provided their own meter reading device attached to their air hose and machine, which was free to use but still had a small probe that required bifocals to read. Now go to the gas station and make sure they have air, but you have to give the meter $1.50-$2.00 for X airtime. In most cases the air dispenser/vacuum devices are either broken or it hurts to pull on a dirty air hose and then fiddle with the attachment to the tire valve stem etc. Well it's time to find an alternative and economical way. It made sense to monitor my car's air pressure and fuel requirements. I already had a portable air compressor, so I just needed to find a tool to solve my tire management headache. I chose the UNOYX Digital Pressure Gauge, 150 PSI Tire Inflator with Gauge, Heavy Duty Air Chuck with Pressure Gauge for Cars, Bikes, RVs, Trucks, and Motorcycles (covers all moving vehicles)...the company notes that their pressure gauge displays and works with professional accuracy! The sensor is made of durable stainless steel and brass components. The sensor itself has a rubbery feel and the LED window is visible when the lights are off or when a button is pressed to see the LED light. The gauge also comes with a valve core tool, a small container of tape to seal the threads that secures the air cartridge (useful for locking the tire valve stem in place by pressing the lever it attaches to the tire valve stem and then releasing it to stay on IN PLACE - No more holding or squeezing the air hose against the tire valve stem with this air chuck latch - it stays in place BONUS ITEMS IN THE BOX: 4 Black Valve Stem Caps, something you think you'll never need until you have it do find that you are missing one or more. The meter runs on two AAA batteries, which are included and can be easily installed on the back of the meter. The meter can control 4 different settings: psi, kPa, and bar kg/cm2, No Problem when changing settings If you press just one button and the reading goes to the next Next setting, the gauge is rated for 0-150 fts per square inch... Tires at 16psi - I pulled the trigger, the Ger knob is attached to the gauge and within seconds my tire pressure had risen to 32psi. The company claims that the readings you get on the pressure gauge are accurate to within 0.5. I checked my car tires on the dash and they read exactly 32psi, the same reading I just read on my new gauge. No more trips to the gas station to check and inflate my tires. No more wasting coins trying to power the meter, or worse, looking for the meter only to see an error sign! My problems are now solved and it's in my toolbox. I've also found another use for my new pressure gauge and blower - it works great delivering compressed air into the engine bay area to keep it clean and also the interior of my car and truck gets a blast of compressed air simply by pulling on the trigger on my new gauge and inflator...
