This restored all my Smart TV functionality that my generic GE didn't have. With a total price of less than 7.50 cents plus VAT, this OEM-style remote control is A BARGAIN. (Compared to generic third parties). Suggestion: Many Samsung owners these days are getting rid of the "cheapness" of their TVs, presumably because the remotes give the impression that the real TV isn't working properly (whereas the remotes actually start sending out random, crazy commands). I got this 2016 40 inch TV for $10. NO, it's not 4k, BUT very good 1080p. When I got home with the TV, I removed the batteries from the remote control and the madness stopped. So, I order this on Tuesday, I get a new remote on Thursday (after seeing that I can do basic functions well with the universal GE) and BOOM has solved ALL my problems so far. TOTAL I have a little over 17 boxes in the set! By the way, the one I have is also multifunctional for other items, so I might buy another one just in case. So far very satisfied.
