Firstly, there is no indication of which way the pins should point, but if you look at the ends you can tell. I used 3 and 4 pin connectors. Each time I found at least 50% of the ends would not snap. I have the correct crimping tool so don't think I crimped them that way. If you look closely with a jeweler's loop and light you can see each of the three pin connectors, the center hole was done wrong and that wire never snapped. Everything was like that for me. When using the 1-Wire connector, I couldn't get the pin out because I forgot to put the rubber connector on. There were no issues with 3 pin devices removing the two outer connectors and of course the middle connector never snapped. The 4 pins had similar problems not locking them. After all that I just gave up and soldered the wires together or used waterproof crimp connectors. When I need to switch off, I just cut and revise. Waste of time and money as I spent hours getting it to work.
