Bought this because I'm going on a road trip to Scotland and thought it might help my first time driving on the left side of the road. But after spending hours updating the software and trying it out on my usual commute, I found I didn't think I could trust voice navigation. Examples: 1. I have decided not to take the first exit due to traffic. Before I got to the next ramp he told me to turn right where there is no exit to get onto the road that goes under the bridge.2. As he neared the exit, he gave me conflicting instructions. First he told me to turn left at the end of the ramp (wrong), then as I approached the ramp he told me to turn right (correct).3. It fails to give some turns as voice commands on some tracks. Therefore, he will tell you to move to the left lane for the turn at the entrance to the Autobahn, but he will not tell you to turn. You're probably thinking of directions like "Turn left at the stop sign." To me it's more like that friend who pays attention and tells you to turn too late or don't know left and right. I'm going to print out some Google Maps for my trip, look for a map shop in Edinburgh and shell out some money for a data plan on my phone because I don't trust this Garmin.
