I've been using my shark rotator for about five years and recently noticed that the hose that runs from the brushroll to the main body of my vacuum has cracked. I went online and Shark didn't list the hose as a spare, they actually wanted me to replace the ENTIRE brushroll for $100! Insane. I almost bought a new vacuum but stumbled across this part and bought it as a last resort attempt to fix my old vacuum. That did it! The plastic seems thicker and more flexible than my vacuum, but this may be due to wear and tear over the years. I'm so happy with the money I saved :) Also, I love my vacuum cleaner and I'd be sad if it's gone!
