I like the concept and overall I'm happy with a few aspects but I need more time to really appreciate its value. Maybe it's my fault that I prefer to build furniture without hardware and using only traditional carpentry, but since it's a hobby and I don't have much free time in the shop, sharpening is a bit of a burden. I don't have the muscle memory lessons on the rocks that Rob Cosman does, so I rely on gear and am somewhat limited by my own frugality. I have tried several lights and they have often left me dissatisfied with the results. When I saw this potentially brilliant option, I thought my life would change forever. found.1.
