I gave this product a bad review recently, but then realized it was my fault for not reading the instructions carefully. This product works great for my Golden who has more energy than she knows what to do. We're great dog trainers, but this dog is just stubborn. I ended up having to resort to a collar, but SHOCK didn't want to. It sets off a vibration which my 8 year old thinks is cool. My dog is paying attention now and has finally corrected his bad behavior. Make sure the remote and collar are in SYNC mode. One day it didn't work and we thought it was broken. Had not.
