Started with this kit because it has a wide range of hook styles and I have quite a few.
Our garage had bare drywall, re-primed, sanded, sealed and over 100 random hook/nail holes that had been hammered in over 15 years. Walls intact and I couldn't start fitting hooks that would most likely be in the wrong place or size in 6 months time. So I looked around and decided to "invest" in one of these wall systems. Choose the gladiator as it is sold in all hardware stores and online. I started with this kit because it has a wide variety of hook styles and I've used almost all of them (I bought 8 of the 4ft planks). Definitely I would buy it again. Please note you can use Sears VersaTrack hooks/baskets on Gladiator rails (but not vice versa).
