Finding a cache or getting back on a trail is much easier and safer with this handy and secure little device. Go to the location on the bike and remove it from the mount to go straight to the cache. It stuck on flat trails, bumpy trails and roads (even crossing curbs) even when we were hopping up a very steep hill! I worked with the padding around the handlebars to get a snug fit and worked around my bike basket (I have a vintage women's road/mountain bike). It holds very securely, in fact it's a little difficult to get it off the handlebars without breaking a nail. The husband showed me an easy way to remove the back of the GPSr to change the batteries (without unscrewing the nut). , simply pull it out of the small slot at the bottom of the device). By the way, don't accidentally throw the nut away with the packaging! I did but they immediately sent me a replacement. Big relief!
