First of all, if you're not a big fan of the peppery smell, this is NOT for you because it's full of pepper. I personally LOVE the smell of black pepper and the subtle floral notes of rose really balance it out. I have psoriasis so I have to be careful about the products I use on my skin. This material did not sting/burn or irritate my freshly shaved armpits. As far as I know, I don't have a bad or overpowering "natural smell". But I'm embarrassed by the smell of sweat at work, so I started looking for a new deodorant. Found it and so far so good. To be honest, as long as it doesn't smell bad and continues to be gentle on my skin, I'd call it a win. But please remember that we all have different skin!
