I think these make the cutest little gifts. They also make good party favors. I love the pineapple, a symbol of hospitality, so the symbolism makes them perfect party favors (which also reminds me of Hawaii and other tropical oases you dream of when you're somewhere cool and looking for some sun in your life yearn !) The only "caution" would be that you might not want to wear an open woven sweater with it as the little pins could snag on your sweater (and during the Christmas season in this climate/hemisphere we - mostly women - - wear sweaters!) I liked them so much I ordered a matching necklace. If I give it away I might have to buy another one!
