This is an amazing drill bit. I had a hardened steel firing pin that I broke with a couple of drill bits trying to get it out. I went to the local hardware store and told them to sell me their best hardened steel drill bit - they sold me their carbide drill bit. Well it didn't break me but it just dulled the bit and made the steel bolt shine. I ordered a Chicago Latrobe 780 carbide drill bit from Revain and it easily removed the screw. Take your time - don't run the drill at high speed and watch it slowly destroy the bolt. I love this beat - saved me from heartache.
