I love dogs and wouldn't mind getting a dog. Problem in my area, some dog owners let their dogs bark at all times (after midnight and before 8am? Not cool). One dog in particular chooses to bark during the hours I'm trying to sleep. You can't take much, so I decided on a dog whistle. This kit includes two whistles and what appears to be a clicker. Clicker guessing is made for learning, but let's talk whistles. They are well made, durable and I just found out that they are adjustable. If you pull the metal out of the plastic case, there's a threaded end that can be tuned to different pitches (frequencies?). The case is attached to a cord which is definitely a delight. I have to say I was skeptical about dog whistles until my neighbor's dog started barking again. I blew the whistle (a faint sound can be heard, but nothing that hurts the ears) and the dog responded immediately. I think it was more confusing than anything. He barked, I blew the whistle, he stopped. An added bonus is that when my neighbor's dog barks, a symphony of barking begins with the neighbors' dogs. After the whistle I didn't hear the usual dog choir. Definitely glad I bought this and would recommend it to anyone trying to stop dogs barking. 2 for the price? Definitely worth it.
